REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

General Info: 

SSO Chorus Rehearsals are generally held on Tuesday evenings at Bethel Congregational Church, 536 N Euclid Ave Ontario CA 91762. 

The entrance is located at the back of the building, up the ramp adjacent to the parking lot. (Door is marked “Church Office”. We rehearse in the “Parlor” or the Sanctuary.)

  • NOTE SCHEDULE CHANGE - NO REHEARSAL 2/17 - we start 2/24!
  • Tuesday February 24th - Chorus with piano ( at Bethel 7 - 8:30pm)
  • Tuesday March 3rd - Chorus with piano ( at Bethel 7 - 8:30pm)
  • Tuesday March 10th  - Chorus with piano ( at Bethel 7 - 8:30pm)
  • Tuesday March 17th  - Chorus with piano ( at Bethel 7 - 8:30pm)
  • Tuesday March 24th  - Chorus with piano ( at Bethel 7 - 8:30pm)
  • Tuesday March 31st  - Chorus with piano ( at Bethel 7 - 8:30pm)
  • Saturday April 4th - Chorus with Orchestra (at Bethel 9:30am - 12pm)
  • Tuesday April 7th  - Chorus with piano ( at Bethel 7 - 8:30pm)
  • Saturday April 11th - Dress Rehearsal with Orchestra (at Bethel 9:30am - 12pm) 
  • CONCERT DAY - SUNDAY APRIL 12th. 4pm concert (3:15 call time) - Dress- all black)

REHEARSALS

During our regular season, (usually September - May)  rehearsals for our events are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30  - 9 pm at Bethel Congregational Church 536 N Euclid Ave, Ontario CA 91762. Entrance for rehearsals is at rear of building (off parking lot, up ramp). 

Each event does have a unique schedule, usually beginning several weeks prior to performance.

This season - repertoire will overlap within the rehearsal schedule….

There will be rehearsals continuing after the Season Opener - to introduce Messiah, Amahl, and additional repertoire for Spring 2025.

Spring of Hope*

  • Sunday April 6th, 2025 at 4pm (3pm call)
  • Dress Rehearsal - Saturday April 5th, 2025 9:30am - 12 noon
  • Other rehearsals - weekly on Tuesdays, beginning February 11, 2025 .
  • Feb 11, 18, 25; March 4, 11, 18, 25; April 1
  • Sat. March 29 - Rehearsal with Orchestra 9:30am - 12pm
  • Dress Rehearsal Saturday April 5
    • Orchestra Overture - tba
    • Jose Elizondo - La alborada de la Esperanza (The Dawn of Hope) – Chorus & String Orchestra

The chorus is a volunteer organization, open to all singers. (A voice placement audition may be required of new members.)
