REHEARSALS

During our regular season, (usually September - May)  rehearsals for our events are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30  - 9 pm at Bethel Congregational Church 536 N Euclid Ave, Ontario CA 91762. Entrance for rehearsals is at rear of building (off parking lot, up ramp). 

Each event does have a unique schedule, usually beginning several weeks prior to performance.

This season - repertoire will overlap within the rehearsal schedule….

There will be rehearsals continuing after the Season Opener - to introduce Messiah, Amahl, and additional repertoire for Spring 2025.

SEASON OPENER

Faure Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine.

Rehearsal Schedule (Tentative)

• Concert - Sunday October 6, 4pm (3pm call)
• REHEARSALS: Tuesdays, beginning September 3, 2024. 7:30 - 9pm
• (note - additional repertoire may be rehearsed)
• Rehearsal with Orchestra  September 28 9:30am
• Dress Rehearsal - Saturday Oct 5 9:30am

MESSIAH

• CONCERT - Sunday December 8th, 4pm (3pm call)
• Rehearsals begin Tuesday October 29, 2024.
• (note - additional repertoire will be rehearsed, including "Amahl" )
• Rehearsal with orchestra - Saturday November 30 9:30am
• Dress Rehearsal Saturday Dec. 7 - 9:30am 
• (In deference to the Claremont Chorale schedule, on December 7th, we plan to rehearse the choruses first, and then release the chorus.) 
• Note - In November, we will also be rehearsing the choruses for Amahl and the Night Visitors.  Exact schedule tba. We may make a few Saturdays available as well.

AMAHL and the NIGHT VISITORS*

CONCERT - Sunday January 5th, 4pm (2:30pm call)

Principal rehearsals will begin soon, and chorus rehearsals will be ongoing in ALL our regular rehearsals, with more focused rehearsal time beginning  in November (along with Messiah rehearsals) Stay tuned, as we work out our schedule.

AMAHL PRODUCTION SEQUENCE SUMMARY:  (TENTATIVE - Subject to change)

• Saturday Dec 21 - staging rehearsal (Chorus)
• Saturday Dec 28  9:30 am - 12noon - Orchestra; 1:30 - 3pm - Chorus with piano
• Sunday December 29 - afternoon - Orchestra
• Monday  Dec 30, 7:30 - 10pm: Orchestra
• Thursday Jan 2  7:30 - 10pm: Chorus  (with ORCHESTRA)
• Friday Jan 3 7:30 - 10pm Tutti Rehearsal with Orchestra
• Saturday Jan 4: DRESS REHEARSAL TBA - probably  1pm - 3:30pm 
• Sunday Jan 5- Early Call for Chorus 2:30 (doors will open to public by 3pm, but chorus will need to have a brief warmup with piano)

Spring of Hope*

• (*Tentative) Sunday April 6^th, 2025 at 4pm (3pm call)
• Dress Rehearsal - Saturday April 5th, 2025 9:30am - 12 noon

• Other rehearsals - weekly on Tuesdays, beginning February 25, 2025 or possibly sooner.
